WELCOME BACK A catch up on our Society’s Business. Election of a new Board.

Leaf sale. Learn and grow with us. A hands-on workshop. Putting down a Species leaf which will be provided. The resulting plantlets will become our project plant for the upcoming season. Bring your own soil, pot and tools. A DVD presentation “Understanding The African Violet species”: by Barbara Pershing and Jeff Smith. Narrated by Richard Nicholas

Streptocarpus. Understanding the many ways to successfully start a Streptocarpus from a leaf. Starter plant material will be provided. A discussion on lighting for Streptocarpus and other related issues. A hands-on workshop. Bring your own soil, pot and tools.

November 8, 2024

Getting your overgrown African violets and other Gesneriads ready for next year’s show. How to break them down for success. We will discuss miniature, semiminiatures and standards. Bring your questions and issues. A demonstration. You can bring your problem violets.

Christmas social and Auction.

Join us for a chance to share the season with friends. A pot luck event. Bring your favourite dish to share. Live Auction
