Time and Place
All meetings of Lakeshore African Violet Society of Toronto are held on the upper floor at:

Meetings are held monthly (January-May and September-November). Visitors are welcome. Meetings are usually on the second Friday of the month. Meetings begin promptly at 7:30 pm. There can be occasional exceptions to the second Friday rule. Please see our Annual Schedule page to be sure of the dates.
We also gather for an Awards Dinner in June and a Christmas Dinner in December. The dinners are limited to members only except by special invitation.

Directions for Drivers
Coming from the north via Highway 427
This includes those who have come to 427 from 401 east or west. Take 427 southbound to Holiday Drive exit. Go slow; it is a tight curve. Turn right on West Mall (first traffic light) and proceed to Rathburn Road (your second traffic light). Turn right on Rathburn. Go over 427 on the bridge and turn left at your third traffic light which is East Mall. First street on your right is Robinglade Drive. Follow Robinglade until you see the church parking lot on the right. Park your car and walk towards the street at the other end of the lot (West Deane Park Drive). Just before you get to that street turn left on the short staircase and enter the church door appearing on your left. Head for the upper floor! You are there!
Coming from the south via Highway 427
This includes those who have come to 427 from the Queen Elizabeth Way/Gardiner Expressway east or west. Take 427 northbound to Rathburn Road eastbound. When on Rathburn move to the left lane immediately and turn left at the first traffic light which is East Mall. First street on your right is Robinglade Drive. Follow Robinglade until you see the church parking lot on the right. Park your car and walk towards the street at the other end of the lot (West Deane Park Drive). Just before you get to that street turn left on the short staircase and enter the church door appearing on your left. Head for the upper floor! You are there!
Coming by Transit
Two TTC bus routes serve the neighborhood: Route 48 Rathburn and Route 111 East Mall. The Rathburn route originates at Royal York subway station and the East Mall route originates at Kipling subway station, both stations on the Bloor-Danforth line.
From either bus, get off at the corner of East Mall and Rathburn. Cross at the traffic lights so that you are on the east side of East Mall heading north. Turn right at the first street which is Robinglade Drive. One block later on Robinglade you will see the church parking lot on the right. Walk through the lot almost to the next street which is West Deane Park Drive. You will see a flight of two or three stairs on the left. Head up those stairs and in a moment you will see a door facing West Deane Park Drive through the pine trees. Enter the church door appearing on your left. Head for the upper floor. You are there!
